This will help you take the engine out the top...good luck. BTW, that's how I will be doing mine.
Taking out the drivetrain from the rear is not that difficult. just watch for all the connectors, i separate the brake lines up top above the differential . if you take out the drivetrain with the engine in place , the engine will tip back quite a bit so its a good idea to support it so that it doesnt' hit the firewall. Have done it in one piece with torque tube and rear subframe, but have seen it done at the track with each assembly separate, it seemed easier to do that way . am going to try it next time that way .
