New 07 C6, Z51 PKG? I was wondering if anyone here has driven both the regular C6 and the one with the Z51? Is it worth the extra cash for it, or is it all factory fluff. I like the idea of the bigger brakes and the suspension upgrades, but the tuned tires and different gear ratios? Is this pkg worth it?
I say it is worth it. What is a couple of more grand on a mid $40k car? I think you get a better all around vette.
I can't say I have driven a new vette but I know that the Z51 package is really good.

If you're gonna heavily mod the car anyway then "no" it's not worth it.
For the money a heads/cam package would be a much better expediture of similar funds.
If you're only gonna do "tippy toe" mods like an intake and catback then yes it's probably worth it.

weigh out your options. you can buy a non Z-51 car and get the Z-51 sways and upgrade the rotors. don't know how important the 'sport car' feel is to you. I opted for the Z-51 package. Next time I'll price compare both ways and see how far apart they are. Those eradispeed's sure are nice.
