wipers going nuts ???
wipers going nuts ??? after washing my car yesterday, my windshield wipers are going retarted... they go up and down on and off as they please (only when key is on), I thought water was shorting something out but its been over 24hrs and a few really good drives... Has this ever happened to anybody else?
I checked the fuse box but didnt see a wiper fuse, didnt have time to do any hardcore research yet...

open your hood.... on the drivers side under the cowel there are 3 rubber udders... you probably have a bunch of stuff in them clogging them up... just milk all of the crap out of them (they are open on the bottom) and then let everything dry out, do it soon or your wiper motor wont be happy. I would also check the one on the other side if those are that bad... the same thing happened to me once on each side... but if it happens on the passangers side, it overflows right into the car on the bcm and costs you $$$$$$$ to replace it.
so I tore apart the cowl today, none of the drains were clogged, I checked the wiper controlls and they seemed to work like normal now, must have gotten water inside the motor making it go crazy...
