f-body to c4?
I wouldn't do it, for all the reasons mentioned above, but I love my SS. The C4's are cool cars, and the LT4 is an awesome motor, but IMO the LS1 is better. If you like teh C4 and want one, then do it, you wont be happy until you get what you want. If a Vette is what your after, get a C5.

I went from a 85 C4 Vette to a 95Z28 to a 99Z28 to a 97 Vette the 85 Vette was the worst of these 4 cars even the 95 Z28 was better the 99 Z28 with the LS1 motor was streets better than the C4 and the 97 Vette is streets better than the 99 Z28. IMHO
