Rear Fluid I am thinking about changing out the fluid in my 2001 C5Z rear just to do it. Has never been done and the car has 28k. Do you think this is wise? How much fluid does it take and what should I get? Royal Purple? Red Line?

I've done mine a couple times... go to your local checkers or something, get 1qt Mobil-1 posi fluid and 1qt synthetic Lucas engine oil, the rear will hold about 2qt's, you may also need a rear end fluid pump if you dont know somebody who has one...
I've been using this combo for a long time, it eliminates my rear end slip from auto-x w/slicks... I cant even put into words how well this works for my rear end... do it
and when your done dont forget to do some slow speed figure 8's in a parking lot to get the clutches moving around w/the new fluid...
