Title weight different than actual
Title weight different than actual The title on my 07 C6 says the car weighs 3300#. On Chevrolet's web site 3179. I weighed it at the track with over 1/4 tank of fuel and it weighed 3210.
Do the title weights include a light weight driver or is the state of Texas trying to make a little extra money on the license plates?
What weight is on the title of your C6? State?

We corner balanced my 07 Z06 and it weigths 3114 lbs. with 5/8 tank of fuel. This is a set up for the track (harness bar/fire ext.)... but with the run-crap tires.
The V710 Kuhmo's with 18 inch rims all around would reduce the weight by ~ 30 lbs or so.

Yep... the Z06's weigth less than the std. Z06. I also have two piece rotors... ~ 16 lb. lighter.
I'm using the same wheels on my 07 Z06 as I was on the 04 Z06 for tracking.I have C-5 Z06 stock wheels for the track. Rears are forged 01 18" rims and fronts are 04 spun 18" rims.
I've heard the forged wheels may cause an interference problem if used on the front. I will check this out next month when I prep the car for Barber.
