c6 Z06 roof question

c6 Z06 roof question FRC for the 6th generation Z right? There are none available in Targa, are there? Like the removable roof panel-I dont recall them making any...in 06 or 07... Anyone>?

Can't help you on your question. Out of curiosity, what kind of power you putting down with the turbo'd 403. I might go that route down the road. I don't think I want to get away from the c5 body style, so I'll just do a bigger badder engine down the road and upgrade my trans too.

Z06's are FRC's They look exactly like a coupe in frame shape in comparison to the C5's where the hatch is the obvious difference. However there is a recall on the Roof panel of the z06's they are glued down and well the glue hasn't been holding up to par and has been known to come off at highway speeds.
I've actually seen a video where the panel started lifting off so the guy pulled over and helped hte panel off... tossed it on the side of the road and kept on driving. nice ot have a "removable top" for the day i guess

That combo WAS going to be for the WS6, but I decided to hold off on the build... it would have made POWER!!! I undestand the motor would have been 425hp to the rear...We could imagine what the S80 from Jose/FI.com would have done for that powerplant...LOL
