Default Project C500 - Procharger, RAM, and more!

I have just completed a very fun project with my 99 FRC, installing a Procharger P1SC Stage 2 and other goodies to try and hammer out 500 RWHP and keep the car driveable on a daily basis. I did all the install work myself with the exception of some helping hands on a few steps of the blower install, and had assistance from our shop guys on the Street Dual install. Anyone with basic car knowledge can do this, but I would not have wanted to do it without a lift! We installed the RAM Street Dual first to make sure everything was functioning properly before moving on. Next was Texas Speed headers and X-pipe, then the blower. I also used Aeromotive fuel rails and regulator, ran a return line to the rear, filter, and all plumbing. Other goodies are from MSD, Taylor, Autometer, and Powerslot. Still trying to nail down a Z06 catback for it, I keep getting snaked at the last second on Ebay.

Acceleration is extremely smooth, the car drives like stock until you roll into it and blow right through the traction control!!! No clutch chatter, no floater plate rattle, very nice pedal effort.

Good to hear it all came together for you. How long till you step up the blower? I bought the D1SC and am already getting ready for the F1C. Boost is more addictive than crack!

How much can that ram clutch take? I am about to step up the blower and put a 408 in and don't think the textralia can take the carnage. And how good is the pedal feel. I messed up and bought a Clutchmaster "Street" clutch before and it was pretty much on and off no slip or pedal just stop and haul ***. So now I am paranoid.

We've had it in C5's as high a 1004 hp at the wheels so far. There is a 900 series version also for more race oriented cars. The driveability of the unit is the best of any clutch we have ever produced!

I will look for you when the textralia dies. Just worried cause I have to drive through a lot of traffic sometimes. Too much stop and go to have a super hard clutch.
