Yes ,they found out that the valve guides were galling,on the #8 and #6 valves,thats why the piston hit the valve and bent the #8 intake valve.Heads went to machine shop to have guides repaired and then pulled the other head to send and get checked out.That head was ok.So installed new lifter,2 new valves.Now just waiting for Carmen to re-tune and test drive.I stoppeed by there today and Carmen and Dennis were taking car out with lap top to retune.
I'm hoping that the car is ready tomorrow or Friday for weekend.I'll let you know what happends.

To let everyone know on here LME DID COVER the work done to the heads and lifter replacement. Please tell the whole story. They didnt even have to cover anything. When the motor was sold to you it was new. Its a performance setup and it sucks but things like this happen. At least they didnt drop you in ther grease and didnt cover anything. They cant control a lifter failure.

Number 1,I never mentioned anything negitive about anyone,number two WHO ARE YOU jhatler2002?,doI know you?I'm not finished with the story yet,Yes LME said they would cover the cost for head repair ,lifter and head gaskets,as of yet,I have not recieved the head gaskets, valves. or lifter,they can't send me any money yet for the heads because I have not given them a price yet because I have not gotten the cost from the machine shop yet,When all was done I would have told the whole story about what happened and would let everyone know what LME did for me,I have been talking to Bryan at LME,he has been Great so far,But like I said when all is done I will tell the whole story,I have known people to say one thing and not follow thru,and I'm not saying LME will not follow thru,but don't come on here and make it sound like I'm not telling the truth or trying to make someone look bad,because that is not TRUE

Man,,been there done that!! I'll never put myself through that kind of **** again. My nightmare lasted 6 months at the first shop and four at the second. I swore I'd never have that many sleepless nights again not to mention the ulcers & gray hair, not over a phuckin car. It was lawsuit city or fire bomb the place. Fortunately everything worked out ok after threatning to sue. Hey man, if you want a fast car buy the damn thing new from the factory with a warranty and be satisfied. It'll be cheaper in the long run & you won't lose any sleep . A Z06 with a Kenny Bell would satisfy me for a long time .
