DTE Stage 4 or 5?

DTE Stage 4 or 5? Alright I know DTE doesnt rate their differentials by torque/hp but does anyone know the round about numbers that the stage 4 or 5 will hold? Im talking about descent launches on slicks at the track maybe 5 times a year. Just round about numbers? Thanks

There are no set numbers on how much it will hold, but with any significant power levels you will find the weakest links in the drivetrain. I am making close to 500 rwhp and I had a DTE stage 2. The parts that broke inside my differential are not upgradable. While my shafts, casing, and other items held up. The spider gears and cross pin did not hold.

I wish I knew. I bought the DTE stg III with a brace and she feels pretty solid. I will have to post up after I do some hard launching at the track. I don't have slicks but have an option of using some DRs (borrowed) or my Michelin PS2 sports 295s. Stay in touch if you find out something.
