? About Shocks

what shocks would u guys recommend i put on my 01 z. mine are a little worn and was wondering which one to put. i heard that the 05 z's shocks fit is this true? thanx in advance

Many, many C5 folks have gone with Bilstein Sport shocks with great success. Much better handling but not too punishing.

They did not make an 05Z. Started in 06. Yes you can use the 04 shocks or 06-07's as far as Z shocks go. In fact the 07's are around the $200 range for 4. Look at www.GMpartshouse.com Ask for Gene. Don

I have the 06 C6 Z shocks on my C5 and they work great. They are a direct bolt in. I have heard that the latest C6 Z shocks have been re-valved are a little better than the 06 Z shocks.
