Those numbers aren't necessarily low at all, especially for an auto. The problem is people are just used to seeing inflated dyno numbers.

397 rwhp through an auto is good for 11's @ 120 ish.

/sigh, yes those numbers are low unless he put a really small cam in

I actually agree with mdhmi for a stalled auto those numbers aren't low, they are about normal. Remember A4 cars aren't dyno queens, especially with a power robbing TC or gears. Right around 400rwhp is what most cars see with decent heads and a mid-sized cam.

I expect it will be a mid 11 second car off the bottle.

I kind of agree with eurospec2. Seems a little on the low side. Interested in hearing the details on this setup.

Well, I have an 04 C5 with 273 gears and an A4, with full exhaust ad a small cam and just new vaulve springs and I dyno at 365 hp and 355 tq. I would have exspected that a car with heads also would have been higher also, but i am FAR from an exspert.

more details would be better. there are so many things left to know. intake, size of cam, tune, what heads? sure there are cars out there making more peak power but they could be running a better set of heads, a monster cam and be a 6 spd car.

a stalled 400rwhp auto car will run harder than a 400rwhp 6spd car especially from a stop/at the track.

To answer your original question. I have a simular setup. No dyno numbers but I do have some track times. Mods and times are in my sig. I think the car is good for another tenth or 2. I am still learning to drive it with all the new power. In colder weather and a preped track I will be in the mid 11s.

Considering the gear change and it is an A4, the numbers are respectful. Unless you dyno race, the numbers are not that important. With your setup and a good set of tires, you should be easily in the mid to low 11s.

i know your car makes nice power and i am sure it runs well. i know lg did the work on your car and lg does great work. but do you really have to make every post about lg and something lg sells? his car is doing fine with the headers he has. i bet he would pick up less than 10 hp and the headers would cost like 1600 dollars?

oh ya lg isnt making his own headers anymore. he sold it borla who makes them now for him. they are still a great quality product but lg headers dont fix everything

SLP headers are not the way to go as far as headers on a Corvette. LG Pro's or Kooks if you have more cubes then stock. You may only pick up 10 peak rwhp and rwtq but you will see and feel the difference in the midrange.

the point is its not worth changing now that he has them and you are biggest damn cheerleader i have ever seen. relax about pushing lg. they are a good shop everyone knows of them. they advertise alot. you come off as a nut hugging, rock band groupie. your sig is full of lg advertising, do you think that every sentance you type has to include lg's name?

you seem like a nice enough person and not the dick that so many people try to be on forums like this. but you come off worse than any salesman because you never stop and lg is always the best.

Don't read my posts then. You come on here calling me all kinds of names, I have done nothing to you. I am simply putting out my opinion. Who are you to restrict what I can say. You sir have crossed the line on courtesy, you could have easily PM'd me your discontent on my "cheerleading" but you chose to trash me for everyone to see. I would appreciate you editing your comments. No reason do disrespect me or the accurate data I post. Have a nice day. If it makes you feel better about yourself to trash me then go ahead.

I agree...you picked up 105rwhp. My '03 Z06 picked up 112rwhp from bone stock, and as ls 1290 mentioned, with your gear change and being an A4, I think your numbers are good.

Congrats and enjoy your ride.

As far as headers go, I would definately not want to be down 30 rwhp in the rpm range that is used by most daily drivers under normal conditions. SLP's headers just don't make the power down low that LG's do. Sorry if that hurts anyone's feelings.

I agree. He does post quite a bit about lg motorsports. However, as i understand it, LG took REALLY good care of him. In return, he wants to do the same, and I can relate to that.

The guy who tunes my car has spent 17+hours sweating it out in my car to only charge me a max of 250 dollars total from 3 different days of dynotuning my car. I, in return, try to plug his name when possible.

You do have the option to just ignore what certain people say by skipping over their posts.
