CCW Drag pack is really the only "Drag" Setup he can buy to fit a vette, lots of us use an extra set of stockers with drag tires on them.

16 inch camaro rims for the rear will fit
you can use 2 gto spares for the front but you will have to replace the tires with a good high speed tire. ccw will sell you the tires to fit the gto rim.

you can buy the drag pack from ccw for $2400.00

best bang for the buck is get a set of vette frnts....The Z06 are best and lighter and you can put a ET street of BFG on them in the 315 series and hook up nicely....just have him watch the clutch and rearend.....

I now have a CCW Drag pack and that is an awesome setup to use. For the longest I did have the front Z06 wheels and they work great as well.

I would not trust my life and/or car at 120+ MPH to the quality of a spare tire rim.

You can also do 15"/16" Weld or Bogart combos, but you need to put a rear calipers up front to clear the rims. I do not like this idea since the front calipers deliver the major of the stopping force.

The CCW package is well worth the $2400 price tag for them new. You can pick up a good used used from $1600 to $1800.

Are you sure the 16 inch camaro rim will fit? Ive ran the weld xp 16's and they barely cleared, I don't think there was a 1/4 inch gap. I was told these were the only 16's that would fit.

Yes the fbody camaro/firebird 16in rim fits. I believe you can search around and find some pics. Even the ugly iroc-z 16in rims fit cause I cant ever forget how ugly they looked

I have had Firebird 16" rims on mine for a short time.

I think 4 17' mags are better because

1-they are lighter
2-the fronts are skinnier
3-you can put a MT drag radial on the rears and have no problem hooking with reasonable power levels.
