I had been considering doing something like that, myself...but I'd build a micro-ITX Windows based machine. I'm just not into the Mac stuff. Mad props, though, for actually going through with it.

GOD I want to finish mine up now!!.. I've figured out a way to relocate the buttons on a pioneer HU so i can just put buttons around the screen and not having a HU displayed.. allowing me to use a much bigger screen... nice install... as stated I wouldn't have used a mac but to each his own.

movies, wireless internet, tuning capablities... for all the same reasons you would buy a computer and then to have it in your car.. sounds over kill but its' not even enough once you explore all the possilbities.
