creaky roof!!!
creaky roof!!! Ok guys, my removable roof is annoying the crap out of me! It's been squeaking a lot the past month or so and used to squeak only now and then for the past year. It's coming from the driver side front latch mechanism. I've tried silicone oil on it all, no luck, I tried a thin amount of white grease on both the rubber gaskets everywhere and the same for the latch. No improvement. If I hold onto the latch in certain positions it quiets down so that makes me think it needs some kind of adjustment but I can't see how it's adjustable. My next thought is putting a thin sheet of cloth on the latch mechanism before I put the roof on.
