Too many codes! So i removed my cats, i figured it would throw a CEL, but not this many codes!

P0161 HC (this is the only Current code)

Any idea what is going on here?
I am also having trouble with keeping a steady idle (shakes, drops to 250 rpm) and some off-idle hesitation along with hesitation when coming to a stop.

did you disconnect the battery?
Do you have a programmer and can reset all the codes? If you do, these are the codes that keep reoccuring?
Try and disconnect the battery and then hold the key to start for about 10 -15 seconds. Heard that will drain the capicators in the pcm. Then reconnect both battery cables and start the car up. It will have to relearn but let it idle for a little bit and then drive it.

I dont have a programer but i can reset all the codes, the only code that i know keeps coming back is the PCM - P0161, it is the only one that sets off the CEL.
I'll try disconnecting the battery when i get home to see if it helps anything.
Sidenote:
I cannot get my damn keyless entry to work!!
I've replaced the batteries in both remotes, but when i go to reprogram them (holding Lock+Unlock) nothing happens.

That code means the passenger side rear 02 sensor heater is bad. Means you need a new 02 sensor there, but you said you deleted the cats so you just need either to get o2 simulators or get a basic tune done to delete the rear 02 sensors from the system. It is one of the normal codes to pop up when deleteing cats.
not quite sure on the remotes. Isn't there a option on the dash where you can program the remotes??? Check the owners manual on that one.

Really depends on the shop. most times they will do a basic tune. $150 but they do other things as well as that. lower the temp at which your cooling fans come on, manual-get rid of teh stupid crap CAGS, auto-turn off torque management. A lot of little things.

Disconnecting the battery didnt help the bad idle any.
My dad said something about the checking the icv?
I'm starting to think i just may need a tune up.
I've got plugs and wires on the way, i'm also going to clean everything from the filter to the TB, any other sugestions?

You need a re-tune.
PCM is getting the wrong signal due to O2 sensors and could be leaning or adding to much fuel.
FYI, it is illegal to remove the cats and the EPA is coming down hard on shops and companies that do this. Casper Electronics just got a huge fine for selling O2 simulators.
Also, if and when you sell your car to somebody you're going to have to put it back to stock as it won't pass emissions inspection. If you sell the car without telling the buyer of this condition, he more than likely going to make you pay to fix the problem or sue you.
Just went thru this a few years back, when I bought a car from Texas and was told it was 100% emission compliant and all of the codes had been suppressed by the tuner and none of the emissions worked. Got a refund of $15K on purchase price of $42K.
Some food for thought.

First thing you need to do is reset all of the codes manually. This doesn't mean disconnect the battery or clear the codes using a handheld....it means delete them MANUALLY!!! Most of the time when you reset the codes they stay in the history, so you need to start from scratch.
Turn the key on but don't start the car
Clear all error messages on display using "Reset" button
Hold button #4 (options) down, and press button #1, 3 times in less than 10 seconds.
This will put you into manual diagnostics mode.
Then press #4 again and this will put you in Manual Diagnostics Mode.
Then go thru all the different categories (PCS, TCS, BCM, SCM etc) and hold the "Reset" button on each category to clear the codes.
Press button #5 (E/M) to exit manual dignostics mode.
Now start the car and drive around for atleast 40 miles and then come back and see what codes appear.
Turn the key on but don't start the car
