Lowering Bolts???
Alot of guys take out the front bolts all together and use longer bolts for the rear, i just didnt want the spring rubbing the lower a-arm.
I used C6 Lowering bolts for the front from West Coast Corvette (C5 front bolts are the same size as C6 bolts) and used Zip Corvettes rear lowering bolts. I can only fit one finger between the tire and fender in the front, and almost 2 fingers in the rear. The front air dam is very close to the ground when lowered, so get sued to that thing scraping alot!
There is a whole DIY on lowering the C5 on digitalcorvettes.com.

Those wheels and the cars stance is perfect. How low is that? Are you front bolts out and the rear all the way down?
Im running c6 z06's 17/18combo and really regret going w/ a 17 up front now that i put a 305/35 tire on the back. It had a 305/45 before and the car was raised up front and rear, since the tire change it looks like the thing has a body lift, im hoping the stock rear bolts will lower it enough to get rid of the wheel gap like on your car.

On my FRC its about the same on the rear, Ive raised the front since this pic, it was scraping everywhere, id say its pretty similar to our Z06 height wise now.

I did not want to cut my stock bolts. The C6 bolts are the same size as the C5's fronts. The West Coast Corvettes C6 bolts are good, they held up with no problems so far with around 1,200 miles on them.

*HOLY CRAP* This threads from 2007!! But to answer your question, yes, you will need an alignment afterwards. I knew over 2,000 views was weird and unlikely for a new thread lol
