car turns off!!!Help!
car turns off!!!Help! Well this problem is just starting okay If I turn on my vette it turns on normaly.Once I get on the streets or if I let it idle for too long it starts to idle roughly jumping from 500 rpms to almost 100rpms and then it turns off.So if anyone can give me advice at to what this problem can be.I already checked if my fuel pump turns off,it doesnt it stays on even if the car shuts off.Checked all the wires,spark plugs, and coil packs and still the problem remains im getting really fustrated with this car I dont use it often so I dont know why it always gives me problems

Could be a variety of things. Check for codes first to see if they point you in any direction. If not then start with the basics.....fuel filter, air filter, MAF sensor, see if any wiring is loose, any connections taken off.
Have you done any work to your car lately? A lot of times people do stuff to their cars and knock something loose or forget something then wonder what the hell happened?

You guys think it might be the spark plugs because after it gets warm the rpms start to jump and its missfiring at the same time...Oh and when this happends it starts to throw black smoke...
