2007 corvette motor?
yea they have the LS2 they make around 340 to 360 wrhp they don't respond as well to cam only mods like the LS1 or LS6 but when FI they are nasty... a 400hp stock motor is aloways going to have potential depending on the money you want to put into it... the best LS2 vette 1/4 time was 12.2 on average 12.5 or alittle slower a C5Z will better in im a race stock vs stock bot overall its a decient motor they cancelled it in just 3 years and replaced it with the alsome LS3 so you tell me how good it is...

im just wondering becuase i my be able to get one for cheap with very low miles and i was thinking of putting that into my nova instead of a ls1. i just want to know how much i can get out of it if i build it fairly aggressive.
it really depends one what kind of build up you would wanna do... the LS1 has 8 years of fine tuning and research and development the LS1 responds very well you cam only mods for example my 01 C5 with a MS3 cam, LT's X pipe, tune and B&B bullets would dyno around 420 wrhp and run low 12's if not high 11's... on the other hand the LS2 has only been out for 3 years and it doesn't respond as well to the basic mods like cam onlys.. the LS2 dyno's about 30 to 50 more wrhp then the LS1... but don't get me wrong you can make major power out of the motor just depends on what you wanna do and how much you wanna spend
