The C6RS is on the cover of Nov 5 issue of AutoWeek.

Damn, that is one bad assed ride!

Cost is only an estimate at this time, but best guess is $225k, which includes the cost of the Z06 platform P&M builds from. They will build from any C6 platform, but it would actually cost more than if a Z06 is the bases because they would need to supply an entire engine from scratch.

The car weighs in at 3166lbs when all is said and done, just 4lbs more than a stock Z06.

A little out of my price range, but it does make me hungry for one........

All C6RSs get an entire engine from scratch.

I was under the impression some of the original LS7 engine parts were utilized, hence the need (recomendation) for a factory Z06 as a basis.

I ain't about to get into a pissing contest over it, just going by what I read in the artical mentioned in my previous post.

Yes, it uses LS7 heads, but we supply Pratt & Miller with complete engines. It can use a C6 donor car.

I think the C6R race cars are built from regular Corvettes not Z06s. So what would be the difference for the street cars. I'm sure they change the suspension anyways.

that thing is so amazing. I wish GM would build that instead of the zr1...plus it just looks so much meaner than a stock z06. Sell the trans am and save up i guess?

How do the center-bolt style wheels work? Is there an adapter or new rotors, spindle or whatever else is involved? Anyone done it? About how much would that cost? Those wheels look really badass.

They have a special hub assembly manufactured by Pratt & Miller.

dude thats the same car i saw at the L.A. auto show! from what one of the spokesmans of the car told me he said it weighs a merely 2700 lbs!!
