Default 07 Z06 Cold air intake
I just bought an 07 Z06 and was wondering if anyone out there knows which cold air box set up gives the best HP gains?

From what i here there all about the same. The cars run pretty good stock. I don't think its worth the money.

There are a few good one. The Callaway Honker, the Halltech Killer Bee, and the Vararam are all good.

Thanks for the information, I guess is all about cosmetics at this point then. I'm interested in the Callaway system just because who knows Vettes better than Callaway.

For the money, we like the Vararam and have had good luck with it. The Killer Bee is also a nice piece.

Killer Bee will be the easiest/cheapest to install.
The Honker, Lingenfelter and Vararam units require a lot more time to install. FYI

yep i have the vararam on my c5 and even others will tell you, its a PITA to install, Even on the newer vettes. Good system though, ive actually seen two c6 z06's using it and heard good things.

With the VaraRam, you can get the precut shroud to make installation easier. The VaraRam for the C5 was a noticeable upgrade.

the k@n air charger is one of the cheapest iv seen my buddy has one on his 07 z06 that lg put on with a cam and other bolt ons a nice intake for the money very nice power gains ...halltech is also a very nice intake
