Default Are 10s possible with a street car?

After going through the post "PAVE1's vett times. not to kill a horse" I have my own question at this point. Is it a doable goal to shoot for 10s instead of 11s with a very streetable DD? No juice or FI. Heads cam, you know the drill.
Except for pully and electric water pump. ( I can't find anyone who can actually tell me how much HP they gained for 600.bucks) I'm from Florida and I don't want any overheating problems. You can see from my sig that I am planning on the TFS 228/230 cam, any comments? Thanks in advance.

Very possible..even though I can't quite seem to get there yet...some have made that with just the cam (of course, tires, clutch, headers and such). Go to the ZO6 fast list on CF and look around.

Yes it is possible to have a N/A daily driven 10 second vette. I ran 10.6 with mine and also drove it on the street weekly. Mine was a 346 with the A4 transmission. Only a couple of other guys (that I know of) have done it with 346 ci and A4 trans. The manual trans will put more power to the tires but the driver must be able to shift quickly or the A4 will be quicker on the strip. What you are trying to do is certainly possible but it will take alot of know how and also alot of seat time behind the wheel at the drag strip. My advise is to use the stock water pump instead of the electric one. I dynoed my car with the electric and saw NO improvement power-wise. The advantage is that you can cool your car down without running the engine.

I hope to hit 10s on all motor...hense the sig below

I dont think it would be that terribly hard. Currently Im in the low 11's with cam, lt, and exhaust. Throw some heads in the equation and it should be good.
