Cam Question?
Cam Question? I'am wanting to run the Thunder Racing T-Rex and wanted to know how streetable it is. How bad does it surge if any at all? i like this cam because it makes good n/a power and thunder racing claims it also works well with nitrous. All i want is a decent streetable car that will go 10s on motor and have a 125 shot at my dispose if I some how end up behind the car I'm racing. I would even love to go 10s with cam only, but if I need to I will upgrade heads also and would like to have some input on the best heads to match the cam. That cam if tuned correctly shouldnt surge and cruise as if it were close to stock. With the larger cams you just have to have a good tuner! I run a 238/244 cam and it drives close to stock. I think you would be hard pressed to go 10s cam only but with heads and that cam it is very doable IMO.
