A 28" tire will fit but you may have to raise it up a bit. I had 335/25 x 20's on my rear and they cleared

A 28" tire will fit a stock height car if the inner fender liners are removed. I you want to keep the liners in, you will need to raise the car up about 1" higher than stock.

I'd still be a little cautious first time out. Depending on how hard you launch and what your suspension is set at hitting the liners is easy. I'm on a 27" et street and get into the liners pretty good on launch. This is with the suspension raised up too. On my car the liners would have to come out for a 28" tire.

Any drag radial other than a 26" will probably hit the inside liner due to their expansion properties when heated up.

A regular Michelin PS2 335/25 x 20 = 28" and won't hit, unless car is real low.
