like the title says...just wondering as im possibly in the market for a C6 and was looking at 05s for affordability and dont know if there are any problems with the first year C6s compared to later ls2 C6s?

 

no dont think so they were only ava for 3 years...

 

the 06's and up get a different rear end. Supposedly the 05 is weaker

 

es the '05 rears weren't as strong as the later ones but hold up pretty well in the sutomatics.
Also the '06 and up automatics have the 6L80E six speed automatic trans versus the '05s 4L60E 4 speed auto.
Various color changes throughout the years as well of course.
