I just bought my z on the first of the month. I had saved up a 5k down payment and the car was 30k. Keep in mind I paid 21k for my T/A when I bought it with no down payment. So my monthly payment only went up 50 bucks a month with the vette. The idea was, while I am young and have no family to take car of and can afford it why not. I have a good job with good pay and like to spend. Thats the only thing I hate about this car is the fact most people think it was given to me. They do not know that I bust my *** mon-fri at work to pay for what I get.

28/M 00 Coupe. First LSX, no financing I paid cash after a couple of long deployments in the sand box.

I brought the price of my over priced dream car down from 45K to 36.5k lol..... Now I realize for my first car I should bought a black F-body cuz no chicks like yellow vettes

Paid for my cobra from selling my first house at 21 and paid cash for the vette after selling the cobra! It's all in the way you manage your money and how bad you want something!

What do you do for a living? I'm a database admin and I don't make that kind of money to build up a cobra and buy a house.

I feel ya on that one brotha. I am 21 years old and get asked all the time how I can drive a vette and a 06 diesel and who gave them to me. I just laugh and go on about my buisiness.

Same here. My father owns and operates Preferred Drywall Contractors here in Nashville and I started out with the company when I was 16 (summers of course). Now I am 23 and do quality control for the company.
