My Z in for paint
My Z in for paint I posted this in another thread but I figured I would here also...
Well about 3 months ago my Z06 got keyed by an ex employee of mine
. Well after months of fighting with the insurance company, I finally settled with them and the car is now in paint. I figured I would post up some pics to show you guys the way she looks. Its kinda scary but I wanted it done this way b/c I feel its the right way(no tape lines). The front bumper is still on the car in these pics but you get the idea. Car should be done within the next 2 weeks then its off to the trans shop for a new clutch, completely built 6 speed and a set of 3.90's, and I also have a Magic Stick 4 cam kit waiting for install right afterwards

I've seen a candy black car at a show once... it had a bright metallic base, with a few layers of translucent black on top of the silver. Amazing!
If I had to paint my Torch Red Z, I'd consider painting it that metallic version of red listed above....

thats the only way to paint a car. Black is hard to blend and it fades quite easy.
Mine looks like that too, still. I should hve mine back in a few weeks. Sorry to hear about some a-hole that keyed your car. i haven't heard my car with the cam in it for over 6 months already. So i know your pain. Hard to see it all apart like that.

Verdad Gallardo I did want to go with something custom, but #1.. I dont keep cars long enough, so resale might not be that good and #2.. Its daily drivin and rock chips are a bitch..LOL
