Default clutch help...

ok well with the plans of doing a cam swap and currently being a full bolt on m6 c5 i know i will need a better clutch than stock so im torn between a spec stg 2 or ls7 clutch conversion... .the car is my everyday but i dont see much of a difference between the two other than my last spec had alot of problems and gm put's theirs into EVERY car that rolls out with the ls7's in them... so i guess what im asking is when im driving the car "spirited" next to another car a couple of times in a row which one do you guys think stands a better chance of not sticking to the floor? and mayb a good rpm launch or two at the track with out slippin, but track will only be once a yr at most...

I went w/ a 3+. Just got the suggested 500 break in miles on it and have only gotten on it hard a couple times but so far I like it. Little bit of chatter in reverse but don't notice it anywhere else. The 3+ is full face not a puck style.

Make sure to have everything balanced together! Flywheel was pretty good on it's on but when we bolted everything together it was off enough that I'm sure it would have vibrated in the car. Drilled several holes in the pressure plate housing to get it blanaced.

Dump both idea's. Spec sucks, and they come apart,...the stock LS7 clutch,..won't handle it forever....and slips with realitive low miles.

Buy a Textralia. Keep your legs.
