Default 1 7/8" primary vs 1 3/4" primary

According to LG motorsport their 1 3/4" primary long tube headers are the best set up for a C6 Z06. Most usable torque and great horsepower gains. Kooks and other companies are using 1 7/8" primaries on their headers and the claim the best horsepower and torque gains. Does anyone know what the diffence is between the two?

The LG Pro Longtubes will most likely make you more TORQUE down low and midrange at the cost of a few PEAK HP. The other 2 big names in the game is the opposite. With that being said every car is different. No matter which company you pick: LG's Pro Longtube Headers, Kooks, or ARH, you will get a quality Header, but I would steer you toward LG's Pro Longtubes.

Give Bobby at LGM a call, the number is in my sig. Good luck and hope you get the info you are looking for.

With those different sizes, you might want to take into consideration what your future plans are with the car or the intended track use that the car might or will see.

Either way you go when it comes to putting headers on a c6 zo6 you won't be disappointed. Still I would lean towards the LG Pros. JMHO.

I think you are right, I will not take my car to the track. I paid too much money for it to abuse the hell out of it. It will be used just to be cruzing around town on the weekends. It looks like LG pros. are the better choise for that application.
