This is an old pic, when I had a procharger. This is when I raked my radiator the first time. Look at the BAR in front of the CHARGE/BYPASS pipe, that BAR is supposed to be where that charge pipe is but, again, I cut it, and moved the BAR 6 inches forward, and welded it back in place. This mod is common on centrifugal supercharged cars because they wanna get the LARGEST inlet on they're blowers for those big filters....cant do that with a radiator in your way though.





Thought about doing a flat radiator, just never needed to.

i will be doing a flat radiator setup and having my big twin sitting right on top of it. funny you posted spdkillz's pictures, thats where i got the idea to do mine that way lol.

Yeah spdkilz vette is sick, although ever since the turbo kit was installed, I've only seen or heard from him maybe once or twice. Even his site, wasn't updated for a while...but I haven't checked in some time.

I sent them and email, i really wanna try something like this on my FC. I asked him about how it cooled etc.

Never heard back, but damn it, i really wanna see some data of cars with the rads laid out flat or very extreme angles.

Its really about my only option for doing what i want to do. arg.

In my experience,..just do it. Lay it down, try it out,..worse case,..you wasted your time on 4 brackets, maybe to but,..you'll gain knowledge,..and then I won't have to try it myself.


I am actually thinking about doing that in my fox body mustang. Unsure though.
