C5 oil pan

will a C5 oil pan come off with the engine in the car or does the engine have to be raised?

You either need to raise the engine some or drop the front cradle a bit. If you raise the engine up, becare about how far you raise it. It is possible to damage the firewall if you raise the engine too much.

I changed mine and I droped the front cradle. Only took a couple on a lift.
