x pipe ques... wat do i need to conect bbk shorty headers to b&b catback? i want a offroad xpipe or hpipe....any ideas or companys that make wat i need...its a 98 m6 vette...i want to delete the cats
if i were you i'd go with an X-pipe. It will eliminate that Tractor sounding idle that is associated with the stock H-pipe and will smooth out the flow and sound. As for the pipe's coming off the headers, i'm not sure who makes a kit. If i were you and was gonna do it i'd ditch the shorty's and get LT's with Offroad X(no cats). i have a TSP kit on mine and it works great. Only problem i had was the x didn't slide onto the headers as nicely as i'd hoped and i had to stretch the pipes apart to get good fitment. it wasn't hard it's just for the $800 shipped w/ xpipe it's not perfect like some of the $1200+ kits
also with LT's you have to cut a hole in the Tunnel plate for the o2 sensor to fit through. nothing a 2" holesaw bit didn't take care of though
I just ditched my B&B for a set of Z06 Ti's as well. B&B was just WAY to loud for a heads/cam/LT car
