Rear diff cracked

Rear diff cracked I am in the prosess of changing the trans and diff fluid in my 00 FRC. I dropped the rear cradle out just to get a good look at everything and noticed there is a inch long crack running from the front of the VSS in the cooling fin running forward. Its not leaking so its not into the actual case yet. My question is this the common area were the rears will crack? I searched and found only total carnage diffs.

Good question bro. Sorry to hear about the crack though. Too bad I didn't still have my rear end laying around, you could have it for s/h. Only had about 36k on it and in perfect condition. If by some chance LGM still has it sitting on the shelf I could ask Bobby about sending it to ya. No harm in asking.
