Loud groan from steering when turning right...
Loud groan from steering when turning right... Blew the belt at the track a few weeks ago, and had to muscle the steering around a little while getting the car on the flatbed/into the garage etc.
Fixed the belt, and now when I really give it the boot in a right turn, I get a very loud groan from the steering. No noise when I go left, though.
Any ideas? Pump? Rack? Kinda odd that its doing it in one direction. Its fine in low speed or low effort turns, but when I crank up the pace its pretty bad.
Fluid is fresh and topped off.

I was thinking rack as well. Either that or Im a retard and my lugnutz are loose. I had to move the car around a bit, turned it left and right.
With the car stationary, I can spin the wheel as hard as I want in any direction, no problems, but when the suspension is under load, it makes noise.

Bringing this back up. I have the exact same issue. Only when turning the wheel to the right it groans. (in a certain spot of the turning radius once passed it it's quiet)
