First 1/4 mile pass...input please!
2000 A4/2.73 - Mods in profile...350/360 whp/wtq
1/4 = 12.80 @ 110.1
1000ft =10.80
1/8 = 8.4 @ 88.8
330ft = 5.60
60ft = 2.15
0-60mph = 4.30
0-100mph = 9.99
0-110mph = 12.55
Elevation 1028ft per GPS
These times are from a Gtech.
Experts...please weigh in:
1.) Why is my 0-110mph 12.55 and 1/4mi different by .25?
2.) What does the elevation cost me, about a tenth?
3.) Does running the car with top off cause extra drag and affect time?
4.) Does she have more in her?
This was pretty fun...wish I could do more!
Thanks!

I dont have much input for your questions, but if it makes you feel any better my first and only 1/4 run with my z06 i ran a 13.4 couldnt see the tac (no lights at night), windshield fogged up, no burnout and bald street tires lol. Got beat by a neon dumdumdumdumdum that ran a 13.3. My friends wont let me live it down

1.) Why is my 0-110mph 12.55 and 1/4mi different by .25?
Because it takes a good .25 sec to accelerate by .1 mph
2.) What does the elevation cost me, about a tenth?
It's not just the elevation but the temperature, humidity, and pressure to look at. In general though the higher elevation will thin out the air and slow you down a little bit. 1000' isn't that bad.
3.) Does running the car with top off cause extra drag and affect time?
Definitely...race with your top on next time.
4.) Does she have more in her?
With a better 60' then definitely

The difference in the g-tech times MAY be from the fact that 1/4 mi MPH is determined from the average of your speeds during the last 60ft of the race-not your ending mph. That is just a guess though as Im not sure how the gtech computes all its data.

x3. Those 2.73 gearing are crap. I swapped out my old 2.73 differential with a 3.42 unit from a 6-speed and noticed a big difference. If you have extra funding, and if your transmission isnt beat, add a torque converter at the same time and you'll notice a huge improvement over stock. Gears alone is a big step up though.
