Slightly embarrassing first time
So I went to the local 1/8th mile track for the first time tonight. I got there late and only got 1 run in. It wasn't so great. My car is a 2002 Camaro Z28 with Pacesetter long tubes, ory, slp catback and K&N FPIK.
60 ft 2.60
330 ft 6.26
595 ft 8.65
1/8 9.18 @ 85.52
I babied the launch a little too much. Any tips? I slipped the clutch from 2500 rpm but obviously a little slowly. What kind of times can I expect if I get the 60 ft down to around 2.0? What kind of times do cars normally run trapping 85.5?
