slow trap?

slow trap? Went to the 1/4 track last night for the first time with this 98 trans am I just bought and after four runs, I was unable to trap any higher than 101 mph. Does this seem low to anyone else? any ideas?

stock wheels and tires sizes
according to the scale the weight was 3390 lbs with just over 1/4 tank of gas and removed spare tire.

Your times and mph are almost dead on for what my car ran when it was stock save for the magnaflow exhaust.
At the time it had around 20,000 miles on it.
There are a few people who say their 2.73 gear'd a4's ran low 13's out of the box with trap speeds of 108-109 mph, but when I actually saw them at the track they always seemed to be having an "off day".
On a side bar, a stall and a pair of dr's would do wonder's for your time.
An' don't be a wimp like I was and go small.
I should have listened to these guy's and got a 3600-4000 stall.
