Finally made it to the track
Finally made it to the track Our local track had a charity event today. It was put on by Bikers for Babies for the March of Dimes. They had an autox track set up and they had the drag strip open. It was only a $15 entry which included lunch and it was $20 to autox and run down the drag strip.
This is a cam only LQ9 with an ls6 intake and t56 in a 1968 Camaro. Race weight was just a hair under 3600 with me in it. I don't think my 3.73 gears and 26.7 inch tire are helping me. I'm shifting into 4th at about the 1000 foot mark. Besides needing some sticky tires and more gear just wondering what you guys think?
I only had time to make two passes down the drag strip. My first pass was a 12.69 @114 and the second was a 12.4 @114.
