first pass in a car

first pass in a car so i normally run at the track with a motorcycle, but this weekend i took my 02 ss m6 i got about a month ago to see what it had in it. its a factory car other than the K&N, NKG's, MSD wires, and flowmaster 10 dumped behind the axle. tell me if this sounds right for these cars on street tires and a first timer in a car....

i wasn't sure where to launch at and after hearing all the stories about the rear end not being the strongest out there i didnt want to push it to hard. i am surprised at how well the Falkens stuck and the track was very sticky....my friend dumped his 98 cobra on DR's with bolt on's and a tune at five grand and blew his rear end.

thanks! i thought so to, growing up around racing helps. i had a bet with a built lsx guy in my area, he said i would run a 14 or 15 on my first pass.....i went 13.36 @ 106.17.....MY FIVE DOLLA! lol
Looks pretty good to me, especially for your first time running the car. I hear you about the Falkens. I had a stalled, bolt-on, suspension 98 Z28 that pulled 1.75-1.78 on Falkens pretty regular. Good tires. I wouldn't worry about the rear too much at your power level and on street tires. IMO, you're pretty safe to push it down to at least a 1.8 60' without breaking anything. Just try not to shock the drivetrain with wheel hop or clutch dumps. Anyway, nice runs for sure!
