I decide to head out to our local drag strip yesterday, second time I take my stock 02 SS. I hadn't taking the car to the track since I ran a 14.4 I knew my car had a 13 sec pass in it but track prep and my mistake removing to much air from my street tires caused me to spin.

I was lucky that the track was getting ready for a a special race day today, so the track was at its best yesterday. I ran a 13.6 at 103 still spinning 1st gear a bit. I was really surprised and happy with my car it's a stock 02 SS and it was around 98 degrees here in south texas, plus its got 100224 miles

thats not too bad at all!..... gut your lower airbox now, add a lid, and port your throttle body and drop a few tenths.
