Default Bolt on LT1

Hey guys I just wanted to get some info as to where my times stand with my 94' LT1. Its an auto with B&M shift kit, B&M holeshot 2500 stall, BBK shorty headers w/ SLP LM1 and no cat. The car also has UMI LCARB, MSD opti, March underdrive pulley, SLP CAI and 3.23s out back on 27in slicks (they were brand new and I got a steal on them from a friend). The car has never been on the dyno, nor has it ever had a tune on it.

R/T: 0.2071
60ft: 1.9287
330ft: 5.6047
1/8ET: 8.6517
1/8MPH: 80.50
1000ftet: 11.2792
1/4ET: 13.5211
1/4MPH: 100.57


Any pointers would most definately be helpful!

I think your mph is low. Unless your running in super high da. What rpms are you shiftin at? Also that bm stall not helpin much. You would benefit alot from a better stall. Is it spinning at all or dead hooking? Your times are not horrible but there not great either.

The car is shifting right at 5900-6000rpms. I know the stall is holding me back I never had planned to race it when I bought it as a bone stock car in 2010, I just wanted a mild upgrade back then. The DA was 1900 I believe, it was in Ohio. I am begining to believe that going from a 26in tire to the 27x10.5 slick is killing my top end as well as my gear ratio, but it is dead hooking with the m/t slicks.

The tall tire and high gear is hurting you for sure. What air pressure are you running? How are hiu launching the car? Are you footbrakin it or just mattin it when light turns green?

I usually run anywhere from 15-10psi depending on the track prep. I get on the stall and get rpms up before launching and dumping the gas at the green light. This winter I will be going to a 3.90 gear ratio to compensate for the tall slicks, as well as a cc503 and a medium shot of go juice. I just wanted to see how others think of my times. I have yet to do the bypass mod for the TB, and my best time was with my front sway bar disconnected.

I would look into long tubes and better stall before id do anything else. A good 3600 stall would help out alot. Plus the stall you have now would be to small for the cc503. Try just bring the rpm up past idle then stomp it. Back when my car was bolt ons. It would pick up th in 60ft that way.

I agree with this, put some long tubes on there and better converter. Also like he said, flash the converter a bit over idle, I'm not a LT1 but have a yank 3600, big smokey burnt out + stalling it up to just above idle, 1500 rpm , has got me my best times, stalling it up has not worked for me and I think generally flashing the converter with others has worked out better than stalling it higher in the rpms for 60' times
