1998 Trans am vs 2004 GTO
So, I recently went to the drag strip and was curious what others were running with the same set ups.
The 1998 Trans am has the WS6 package, SLP intake, Umi rear control arms, BMR subframe connectors, 1-3/4
headers, 3" exhaust and a tune. She is an A4 with 105k miles and has some bald 285s on the rear which I know had a negative affect on my times as traction is everything. I was curious on what others were running with better tires and what tires would be suggested?
I also recently picked up a 2004 GTO completely stock besides being straight piped from the axle back. The car hooks and moves way faster than the TA but after about 60mph the TA starts to put a cars length or two onto the GTO. What times have most ran in a stock 04 GTO as I was told that the GTOs should be running mid 13s?
