I think you did just fine for your first time out to the track... are you running an A4 or M6?
With some stickier tires you should be able to lower your 60' time... if you get it into the 1.9x range, you just might get into the 12s.

im am running an m6, launching at aprx 2000, and shifting at 6000, weather was kinda cool probably around 65+-, what tires would u recommend getting, since these will be track only, and optionally different size rims to get thanks

Since you're still running the stock 10 bolt rear end, I'd just go with a set of Nittos... the 245/50/16s work well since you can usually find a pair of 16" wheels dirt cheap. Otherwise if you want a 17" wheel, I suggest a 17x11 wheel with 315/35/17 Nittos.
If you upgrade to a better rear end (12 bolt or 9 inch) I'd go with ET Streets or Hoosier QTPs.

other than the 17x11 wheels needed to fit 315s, you may just have to use a big mallet on the wheel wells to get the clearance to avoid rubbing... some people don't have to do it, others aren't so lucky and do.

For what it's worth, your times look like mine on the f1 tires, I was running between 13.40 to 13.60, trapping around 107 to 108. Most of my 60 ft's were 2.5's, best was a 2.29 I've only been a couple times, best day I have ever had I only got 5 passes in, so there's not a whole lot of wheel time under my belt at the track. Hell, I've had the car since memorial day weekend 01, and there's only 15K on the car, and 1/2 of that was the first summer with road trips and whatnot. Everyone tells me that with more :driving: things will get better. I'm taking a different approach, more mods...

I think you did well for the first time out. My first runs were 13.4-13.7's in my 99 MN6 Corvette. my best are as follows.
13.2@109 with 2.2 60' on stock run flat tires 275/40/18
12.94@108 with 1.94 60' on Goodyear F1GSD3's 275/40/18
12.58@110 with 1.80 60' on BFG TA DR's in the 275/35/18
Keep us posted on the improvements as they come. With practice you will shave .3 off your best times easily.
