Well, the car ran pretty good. First run out and not hard on anything ... it ran a mid 16 at 67. Since we do not have a cage on it yet, we were being catious of how fast it was going to go, plus I wanted to make sure it could make a complete pass down the track without a hitch. Next run, I had her do the same thing and familiarize herself with the shift light and shifting, it ran a low 15 at 97. Has potential, and she was coasting after the 1/8 mile. Next run, she runs it hard and on the transbrake (4000 stall) but eases off on the top end, remember no cage. She runs a 12.85 at 100 or so on a 1.68 60' :o The DA on that final pass was about 5000', also the car weighed in at 3080lbs without her, and just under 3200lbs with her on a 3/4 tank of fuel. On the videos of her runs, vieing from the back passenger side, you can clearly see the driver side tire lift off the ground ... to the point where you can't see it. Her best pass, and not a full one at that, was a 12.75 at 105. I think on a full pass she could power it to a 12.5 at 110. We had to leave early due to a busted trans line >

I am going to fix those with a steel braided ones today! Over all a good day at the track for our very first test run. It was a Fast Ford Weekend and SCEDA event ... the Mustang crowd took notice of the Z28 and how it progressed. ;D Here are three pictures of the event, videos will be posted later tonight.
