Was a nice show...lots of records broken and set in the humid heat. I ended up leaving at the semi's cause it was a long day. I actually think they should work on that format cause if I was feeling as tired as I was, I couldn't imagine how the racer's felt having to try to manage that Pro .400 tree at midnight after a full day of qualifying and eliminations.
It's amazing how fast these cars are going on true 10.5 lil' tires and radials.
I thought the LS1/LT1 vs Mod Motor class would have been bigger but it wasn't and the Mod Motors didn't stand a chance. Was like bringing a knife to a fully automatic gunfight.

Dang Bobby. I didn't know you were out there. It was definately a LONG day... we didn't end up leaving until 1:30 that night. They should definately do something to break it up a little bit.

I heard that the winners in the class were 11 or 12 second Mustangs because everyone else failed to show when called. What happened? Awesome work putting the cars together though. Hopefully you can get all the issues worked out soon!

We had the wrong gear in the car, steven was lifting around the 1000ft. mark.
We had to race one of the fastest 03" cobras in the U.S.,built by strictly.
Steven lifted probably before the 1000ft. mark goosed it twice and ran a 9.37@132. to edge out the cobras 9.44 @ 144mph..

I was there. I was dissapionted with the turn out of ls1's myself. It was a bad *** race, 7.98 record on a 10.5 
! One of M.T.I.'s Z07's smashed a cobra with a 9.61! HPE's Camaro 9.37! There also an orange mustang who blew his hood of at half track because of a nitrous back fire.

He tried to start the car without turning his nitrous off. Car was beginning to start, he put his foot on the floor to help it, tripped the WOT switch and WAM! 600HP worth of nitrous and 0 fuel.
The motor was okay though. It's for sale now that I think about it. LOL.
