Congrats Coach!

I'm trying hard to get a 4.99 Index Dragster Class here at our local track, I would love to run a Pro-Tree Index class!

What's your take on finish line driving (do you like to hold a little or dial tight?)

Take care!

Coach
I guess with my car being (not bragging, BTW) as fast as it is, it's a little easier for me to hold a little. If I'm running a car that's quicker than 5.50, I'll hold as much as .02, if it's between 5.50 and 6.50, I'll hold .01, any slower than that and I dial it as tight as a banjo spring, unless they're REALLY slow, in which case I have dialed up as much as .05 and just absolutely made an @$$ out of this particular guy that runs his car in "Pro" dialed 8.80's.

Long story short, he had it coming, I was just the lucky guy to get to "Romp-Romp-Romp" on him.

I was just curious if who you were racing (dial-in) wise affected your driving style?

Take care,
Taco

When we bracket race I told Coach to run it out the back door every pass. Dont lift till you see the win light in your lane. If you dont get the win light you might as weel go on out the gate and drive her home.

Taco, it definately helps to hold 1-2 if you think you might need it, and of course chasing helps when deciding to hold or not. Nothing is better than whoomping the gas as you take the stripe while the other guy is flat out
