Stock Camaro What is the average 1/4 mile time slip for an 02 ls1 camaro. I have an o2 stripper car that has just a cat back and air lid and it runs 12.9 @110 mph with a 2.21 60ft everyone says it is a factory freak is this true.
That is very freekish to me. Especially with the 2.21 60'. It depends on many factors though. What was the DA? What was the RW? If it was negative DA and your RW is just over 3K then this is possible I guess. But that would mean your time would be 12.6 with a 2.0 60'. This is un heard of with those mods, even with a freek. My .02.
I have a 2000 stripper z28. Bone stock it ran 13.29 @ 107 with a 2.15 60'. I weight 260, so with a lighter driver it could have gone even faster.
With a cutout and nittos, it ran 12.90 @108 with 1.90 60'. Clutch was slipping bad should have went a lil quicker. I am not sure how much a lid would have helped.

I'd agree and say somewhat freakish, but without knowing race weight, DA or temp conditions it's a tough call. Being a stripper '02 model always helps, but I'd be damn happy with that!

In another post you said your car went 13.0 at 110. You also wrote that the car weighs 3320 w/o driver so at least we know the car's light. My lid/filter/flowmaster catback 02 Z M6 went 12.868 at 111.29 with a 2.081 60' on stock 245/50r16 Eagle RSAs and weighing 3650 w/driver. This was on a nice 60* day and with power shifting.
Gimme a 2.00 60' and a better flowing catback and I'll show ya that 12.6 ET on stock radials.

If I could get a low DA day and power shift, I guess my car would have done that with similar mods. I did go 13.3 with a lid and FRA with a 2.16 60' on a 90* day with over 70% humidity. '02 Z28 M6 BTW.
