lol yea 1800 feet for about 10 minutes. we had some late storms come in and cool down everything. not very good race conditions/

believe me ta2slow i know tampa DA a bit better than you do. come talk to me when the track temps are 130 degrees 7 months a year.

and timmy - i will be up at the shootout in November. we will have to get some beers!

Holly crap, are you running a dry sump with that setup? Damn, I'd a thought that is a ton of rpm for that stroke. Good numbers though, especially for this heat and your raceweight. BTW, what heads? I assume it's a sheet metal intake.

No dry sump. ls6 heads. I think there is some more in it so we'll see. I can't believe the rpm it likes either, like I said I thought this combo would be alot more torque. Oh well it is a stick car so it sounds good up high anyway, lol.

That rocks man, car is definately sweet. One question I forgot to ask though and that is how high to you actually spin it. Oh, and it is a sheet metal intake right? Thanks.

I'll be trying a similar n/a setup soon but will try to keep it on pump gas (11.7 to 1) in a 434 (4" stroke x 4.155" bore) with c5-r heads and a modified sb2 carb style intake with a 4150 tb.

Actually I shifted at 78-7900 rpm, left at 7800, and go through the traps about 7600. The motor revs so quick its easy to hit that 8200 limiter I just can't believe how high it spins and still pulls its *** off. So really I don't know where it wants to be spun to yet but I think I'm close at 7800-8000 rpm .

It is a sheet metal intake -BECK

Congrats on getting some passes on her! I'm sure with time, tuning and lower temps she'll come around!

4.125 crank spinning that high. I wonder how those pistons are feeling at that bottom of the bore. LOL

Nice times. Can't wait to see the car at Thunder.
