First time at track last night
First time at track last night Last night was my first time ever draging a car. I have a 99t/a with lsp long tube headers, mti lid and custom 2.5 inch exhaust a4. My fastest time was a 13.7 but my 60 ft was bad i think it was like 2.01. It was really humid out to so think i could have ran faster but i am not sure. What bolt ons could i get to get to the 12's

Try a drag radial, get some gears and a converter and wait til the weather improves and cools off.
Exhaust (headers) will definately do that for you along with the gears and a good 60' you will probably see 12.6-12.5 if you can get a 60' in the 1.7 area. But who knows some LS1's are faster than others.
13.7 isn't that bad for stock in the summer.

a 2.01 is a good 60 foot time for stock gears/trans set-up (mine usually goes 2.04 to 1.93 depending on the weather conditions, plus that's on M/T sportsman pro tires).
Summer air to winter-time air should shave about 3-5 tenths off your time. Gears and/or convertor will wake up the car and give you the 12's you're looking for.
