Stock C5 on Runflats
Nice 60' time. I cut a 13.5 sec. 1/4 mile at 106 mph w/ a 2.2 sec. 60'. I definitely need to learn how to get my car outta the hole. I'm surprised your 1/4 mile et isn't quicker considering how quick you were outta the hole.
BTW what rpms did you launch at, and did you dump the clutch????

Ran my c6 last weekend at Kennedale Tx it was very hot 98+ degrees.

I bring it up to around 3000 and let the clutch out fairly quick(not a clutch drop) Once the clutch is out I roll the throttle on. Do not give it anymore throttle till the car has launched and the weight has transfered. Experiment with the launch rpm and remember no more throttle till the clutch is out. Good luck and have fun.

If I pay attention to what I'm doing, typically I spin. But I just rev it up to I guess about 3000 and let off slowly, I let it start the roll, and then I leave the clutch about half way out as I stomp the gas down all the way, and once I hit about 20 mph, that's when I dump the clutch.
When I ran my 13.6, it was my first time racing the car, and I had 2.2 60' times and it was pretty hot. I've since then put in new plugs and wires. I also just ordered a vararam intake and I'm about to order the ls6 intake manifold and Borla Stingers. Hopin' that those two mods will put me down to a 13.3 - 13.4 especially with fall approaching.
